SUCCESSFUL team keeping busy in online pedagogical trainings in July 2025

With the lead of Wageningen University and Research team SUCCESSFUL continued to build pedagogical competencies of SUSL and UWU teaching staff on teacher handbooks and learning diaries within the context of the massive online open access course (MOOC) on climate change. Altogether 22 participants co-shared ideas of teacher’s and student’s role in the transformative approach to learning that is systemic, participatory, dialogic and experiental. The training looked also in detail on the challenges of implementing the MOOCs, and teacher/facilitator guidelines as well as assessment tools such as the learning diary through small group sessions and discussion on the ways forward.

The training session was highly valuable for discussing the challenges associated with delivering online courses. It also introduced the use of learning diaries as an assessment tool, which was new to most of the participants.
